In Timmins, Free Comic Book Day 2018 is happening at  Jump City, now at a new location in the basement of the 101 Mall Algonquin St. E. and Pine St. N.

The Jump City store is extremely unique in the world of comic books- it is run by two sisters Jules and Kitty and how many times have you seen that in the comic book world?

The first Free Comic Book Day I ever attended was in 2016 at Jump City’s previous location on Pine St. S. and Kirby. That was awesome. They featured the creators of  the Northern Ontario based comic Auric of the North – Davis Dewsbury, writer; Sharon Gauthier, artist; Andrew Thomas, letters and yes Jump City’s own Kitty Montigny who came up with the title. The comic book concept for Auric of the North was created by Mike Booth.

So drop by Jump City and pick up your free comic book and you never know what else might transpire.
